Then and Now...

These pictures are of me and Sophia-at 4 months, and me and Lola Mae-at 5 months.

We're Ready!!

Here are a few pictures of the inside of the house. If you have seen the movie Elf, you know what my inspiration was. Some are taken only by the light of the tree, but it's the only way to get the true sense of my winter wonderland! Cole and I got a little competitive making snowflakes. I won't say which ones are mine (but they rock).

Tea Time

We happened upon a tea party that Sophia had set up for her and some friends the other day. She did the whole thing by herself. Even the table cloth (her baby's blanket). She passed out "tea" and cookies to her guests and they had a good old fashioned tea party. It was priceless.

The List

Sophia asked me for some paper and a pen so she could make a list. No big deal she always makes her own grocery list anyway. Then she comes to me and asks for "this many pieces" of tape, and she held up four fingers. I gave it to her of course. Then a few minnutes later I went into the living room because she said I "had to see this". She showed me that she had made her Christmas list and put it on the wall so Santa would see it. So we are leaving it for him to see...

Let it snow!

We got some snow last night. Sophia had a blast making snow angels and throwing snow balls at Willie. She had to get up and go out there 1st thing this morning, even before her morning chocolate milk.

She Dresses Herself

Surely by now you all know that Sophia usually dresses herself. Today was no exception. She looked in the mirror and said, "Oh, I look so cute!" And off we went to the grocery store.

The Other Baby

Oh, Henry. He can't understand why he has to share the play mat with Lola Mae. And she doesn't understand what's up with the other hairy baby that tries to steal all of her toys.

So Close!!

Lola Mae almost rolled over today! If it wasn't for that arm in the way, she would've had it.

Good Times

Just some funny pics from the past couple of days. Sophia making Lola Mae laugh, and tub time fun.

Trust Me...

I know what you're thinking. Strawberries? Look closer. This is what happened when Sophia got her own strawberries. I was busy, so she said "I can get them Mom. Trust me." She was supposed to get some in a bowl like normal, then put them back. It was a few hours later when she wanted more that I discovered these. I told her maybe next time she could throw away the tops after she ate them (I usually cut them off), and she said "Oooooooh.....right."

The Latest

Just some pics from this week. Sophia at ballet (always making sure I'm right outside!), taking her baby to the grocery store on her shoulders (like her and Daddy), and meeting Barbie at WalMart. I was glad to see that Barbie was a little more realistic in person! Sophia just wanted to wear her dress and crown.

Halloween

Here is Sophia in her "princess dress" that she wears everyday. So of course Halloween was no different to her. Just another day to wear the dress. She was so excited, but the kids we were going to walk with weren't ready yet, so she waited in her favorite waiting spot-by UGA. Obviously her patience was wearing thin. Lola Mae just wore a onesie, but we changed her hat a few times for fun. It was a successful venture, ending in about 3 pounds of unneeded (but delicious) candy.

First Day of Ballet

Sophia started ballet yesterday. It was a big hit. She did really well considering she's never been in any sort of "school" enviornment. It was a "closed" session, so I had to watch from the window, which made it hard to take pics. It was so cute.

The Great Pumpkin

It's the great pumpkin, Charlie Brown. This was our first attempt at carving an actual design in a pumpkin. Calm down. I can hear the applause through the computer.

This Week

I was cooking and I looked around the corner to check on Sophia because she was being quiet, and she had all the Barbies she could fit on Apple (her horse), going for a ride. It was so cute. The other pic is from today-it rained last night. And then Lola Mae after a bath. It's pointless to try and fix her hair, it porcupines no matter what you do.

3 Months Old!

I can't believe Lola Mae is already 3 months old. Time flies. She is still a wonderful baby, and an absolute blessing to our family.

Fall Fun!

Grandma and Grandaddy came for a short visit last weekend, and we took the girls to a fall festival. Pumpkin painting, corn mazes, pony rides, etc. It was alot of fun, and I had a hard time narrowing down the pictures to just a few.

Digging for Gold

If you can't stick your finger in your nose and share a laugh, you need to lighten up!

My Girls

Some pics I took of my girls.
